Cosmetics

Our ethanol conforms to the very high demands of the cosmetic industry, i.e. it is analytically pure and neutral to taste and smell. The alcohol can be denatured at 96 % or 99 % upon customer request.

Bioethanol

In the year 2004, KWST was the first supplier of bioethanol in Germany. In the following years, KWST established itself as a company that manufactures, processes, and warehouses bioethanol. Today, we deliver bioethanol to the fuel industry and offer as a service, the storage, transshipment and refinement of bioethanol. As a founding member of the ISCC, KWST is certified according to standard. In cooperation with its subsidiary KWST Bioethanol Rockstedt GmbH, KWST is producing and selling bioethanol derived from waste materials.

Our customers in the petroleum industry benefit from our experience and tradition. Our Mittelland Canal connection and our large tank farm allow great independence, enabling maximum supply safety for our customers. Thanks to the special emphasis we place on sustainability and production, we can offer our petroleum industry customers state-of-the-art and innovative services at a good price and in doing so, be a long-term reliable partner.

Antifreeze and denatured alcohol

KWST is an important supplier at home and abroad, not only in the field of de-icing agents for vehicle washer systems but also for bottlers of methylated spirits and fireplace ethanol. We deliver on short-term notice to our customers via tanker or rail tank car not only ethanol as single grades but also as mixtures. A particular requirement of the industry is quick and punctual delivery in the season.

Thanks to our regional and international sourcing as well as our connection to a first-class logistics network consisting of rail, inland shipping and motorway, we can achieve key competitive advantages. We also have available a large tank farm and our own production facilities that assist us in the manufacturing and inventory buildup of our product. This enables us to quickly produce and deliver even on short-term notice and enables our products’ special odor quality.

Ethanol Residues

Ethanol is a valuable raw material. With our modern plants for the processing of ethanol-containing, liquid raw alcohols or mother lye, we have the opportunity to process your waste or residual material and use it again as a high-quality raw material in the sense of the circular economy.

We are a reliable partner and offer many advantages for our customers from various sectors such as the pharmaceutical, extraction or, in particular, the brewing industry.

We take care of the entire handling of all logistical, waste and, if necessary, also customs issues. Collection or delivery can take place in tankers, rail tank cars, IBCs or in small containers. You get the security of guaranteed disposal and at the same time you make a contribution to protecting the environment. The recycling of the raw material ethanol into the material cycle also means significant added value for our customers from an economic point of view.
